PATRONAGE – An introductory poem indicates that the volume was commissioned by a certain Leone Patrikios.
FORMER OWNERS – Christina Queen of Sweden (1626-1689).

CONTENTS – Books Genesis to Psalms. The Reg. Gr. 1B is the first and only volume that has survived of what was originally a two-volume work, containing the complete version of the Bible. Its miniatures were separated from the main manuscript and given their own shelfmark (Reg. Gr. 1B), but the folio numbers still reflect their positions in the original document.
LANGUAGE – Greek.
SCRIPT – Greek minuscule.
DECORATION – 18 full-page miniatures.
STYLE – Byzantine.
