BINDING – Nineteenth century leather binding, with two blind borders impressed on the boards, and two leather straps with metal clasps. «Virgilius» and the shelf mark «L.IV.VII» on the spine in black ink.

DECORATION – 88 miniatures in the lower section of the folios decorate the first page of Bucolics and Georgics, whereas the Aeneid is only decorated until the end of the third book.
ARTIST – Apollonio di Giovanni (or Apollo di Giovanni) di Tomaso, and his assistants.
